About the project
Xdent, a network of facilities specializing in advanced dental radiology, decided to enhance the quality of its services by providing its patients and partners with a dedicated solution for managing individual medical records. Seeking the best solution, Xdent opted for a platform that enables the storage, management, and sharing of medical data in a fast, secure, and compliant manner with data protection regulations. The project's goal was to create a system that would be useful for both dentists and patients, giving them convenient access to the necessary information.

Challenges
One of the key challenges of the project was optimizing the management of dedicated medical files in DICOM format (used for storing computed tomography images) and STL format (used for handling 3D models). The system needed to be flexible to meet the diverse needs of dentists, who used the data for diagnostics and treatment planning, and patients, who required intuitive access to their records. Another challenge was implementing a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) server, which served as a data repository, enabling secure storage and quick access to medical documentation.
Solution
The MuchMore team developed a dedicated web application that enables the management of medical files in DICOM and STL formats. The system was based on a PACS server, which served as a central data repository, allowing the storage of all patient medical information in one place. DICOM files were used for storing computed tomography images, while the STL format handled 3D models used in dental planning.
By utilizing advanced technologies, as well as browser performance optimization, MuchMore created an application that fully met the needs of Xdent's clinic. The platform provided intuitive access to medical data anytime, anywhere, supporting both the daily work of dentists and improving the patient experience.
